NF Performance with Rolls of the Dice and Random Numbers
Dr. Donald Iglehart, Professor Emeritus, Stanford University, (Winner, 2002 John von Neumann Theory Prize and Member, National Academy of Engineering), has run independent trials with NF against rolls of dice and random number series. These controlled trials were made without change to NF's generic code. Click the following to see the results: NF Predicts
Economics Indicators
To monitor and analyze a wide range of socio-economic conditions, NF can use sources like EconData.net from which it can gather and process information and project future trends. Also, NF can correlate the relationships of independent economic indicators by concurrently gathering their data.
As a virtual monitor, the CUBE can display the dynamics of several independent economic relationships and show their changes over time. The drill-down feature of the CUBE can be used to track and analyze each of those independent relationships.
Banking and Finance
The World Bank publishes over 152 financial indicators that cover the banking, equity, bond, and corporate finances of countries the world over. The WB also publishes a subset of indicators that are used to calculate a country's financial condition, and if available, the size, stability and efficiency of a country's banking, bond, and equity markets.
NF can monitor and analyze these financial indicators, and correlate them from several countries. It can also produce alerts used to create economic status reports and forecast future trends of worldwide financial sectors.
The CUBE is useful to provide a colorful, three-dimension, animated graphic display for monitoring the real-time changes in worldwide financial sectors and show their transitions over short and long periods.
Academic Admissions Projection
NF can provide real-time estimates for headcount and degree programs, as well as college review and modification capabilities.
NF can be used for a university or centralized organization combining multiple data. A centralized approach can produce valuable projections to individual members to plan programs and make financial forecasts. NF also can be used for enrollment predictions, fundable headcount, and measuring student enrollment. Additionally, it can estimate growth factors for all school levels, including the demand for enrollment, population growth, and the projection of high school degrees awarded.
